Last night it was crazy again. Two stores in Nuuk were burglarized.

A series of burglaries have ravaged Nuuk in recent months. And last night was no exception.

Two stores were broken into here. This is according to the head of the Greenland Police, Aqqalu Petersen.

    – We would like to ask nuummiut to contact the police if you see anything suspicious at night. Because we are currently experiencing burglaries in Nuuk. So please don’t hesitate to call, he says.

The first report of a burglary came in at 4:12 a.m. A second report came in shortly after, at 4:21 a.m.

The police are investigating the case and cannot say whether anything of value was stolen.

You can contact the police by phone +299 701448.
