The police have had their hands full. There have been several alcohol-related incidents and house riots across the country over the past 24 hours. This is according to the head of the Greenland Police, Aqqalu Petersen.

– We have, among other things, opened a case of violence and threats, he says.

The police have also received a number of suicide threats. At the same time, there have been two suicide attempts, the chief of police says. In recent months, there has been a focus on an increasing number of suicides.

Search at sea

A SAR operation was underway in Nuuk on Saturday night. A search was underway at sea when the police received a report last night.
