Since the night between Saturday and Sunday, the police in Upernavik and volunteers have been searching for a 22-year-old man.

A young man is currently wanted in Upernavik. The 22-year-old was last seen on the night between Saturday and Sunday, when he left ‘a drinking session’ in a depressed state.

This was announced by the head of the Greenland Police, Carl Sværd, on Monday morning.

    – We fear the worst, says Carl Sværd and calls on the citizens of Upernavik to check sheds, boats or other places where the 22-year-old could be hiding.

The police received the report at 02.47, and they have been looking for the 22-year-old ever since. A number of volunteers have helped the police in the search and have looked for the man along the coastline, but so far without success, says the chief of police.
