Inukkuluk G. Lennert Shines at the King of Taekwon-Do Championship
Inukkuluk G. Lennert, representing Greenland, recently showcased his skills on an international stage at the King of Taekwon-Do Open International Championship held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from December 11 to 14, 2025. This championship is renowned as one of the most esteemed and rigorous Taekwon-Do events in Europe, drawing competitors from nearly 20 countries.
In the tul discipline for senior competitors, Lennert—who holds a 2nd dan black belt—delivered an outstanding performance, earning a well-deserved bronze medal. Facing off against a formidable field of 13 participants, he battled athletes from nations including Greece, Ukraine, and Estonia. With a combination of precise technique and strategic execution, Lennert earned his place on the podium, affirming his standing among Europe’s elite.
National coach Louis Nielsen expressed his pride in the team’s accomplishments, noting, “I am very satisfied with the performances. Inukkuluk fought hard for that bronze medal.” His dedication and skill not only highlight his personal achievement but also contribute to Greenland’s growing presence in the global Taekwon-Do arena.
