On Saturday evening, a stabbing incident unfolded in the quiet village of Ukkusissat, located within the Uummannaq region. According to the Greenland Police, they received the report of the attack at precisely 5:18 p.m.
Responding swiftly, officers arrived at the scene to launch an investigation. During their efforts, they successfully apprehended the alleged perpetrator, who will soon face court proceedings, as confirmed by Chief of Duty Thomas Jeppesen of the Greenland Police.
Meanwhile, the individual who sustained injuries is currently under medical care and is being prepared for transfer to Uummannaq for further treatment.
