    Daily report: Car chase in Nuuk

    A blue Subaru was stolen in Nuuk on Wednesday morning. Even with the police in the rearview mirror, the car thief managed to get away.

    Early Wednesday morning at 6:35 a.m., a blue Subaru was stolen in Nuuk. Although police quickly pursued the stolen car, the car thief managed to escape.

    – We are looking for witnesses who have knowledge of the case, says Preben Kleist, who is the chief of police at the Greenland Police.

    The car is a blue Subaru with the license plate: GL 22287. This is stated by the duty officer.

    A computer and unknown amount of soda stolen

    In addition, on Thursday night, the police received a report of a burglary at a construction site behind Sana, near the patient hotel in Nuuk.  

    – A computer and an unknown number of sodas were stolen, says Preben Kleist.

    The police are urging witnesses to come forward if they have any information in the case.
