The Greenland Police and Arctic Command have suspended the search for a 59-year-old man in Maniitsoq.

Halfdan Rosing Jensen, 59 years old and from Maniitsoq, was reported missing on Monday evening.

After an extensive search, the Greenland Police and Arctic Command have now chosen to call off the search.

This is confirmed by the chief of police, Poul Kreutzmann, from the Greenland Police.

Halfdan Rosing Jensen has still not been found, and the relatives are still calling on the public via Facebook to help with the search.

He was last seen on Monday morning at 5:30 a.m. when he left his home to go down to his boat.
