At a short press conference during the ongoing NATO summit in The Hague, Mette Frederiksen said that there was more focus on the Arctic.

    – It was mentioned several times at the summit by colleagues, the importance of our presence as NATO in the Arctic and in the High North.

This was stated by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen after all NATO countries had agreed to spend five percent of GDP on defense and security in the future.

Both Mette Frederiksen, Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen and Minister of Foreign Affairs Lars Løkke Rasmussen have had the opportunity to speak with the Americans during the summit, writes DR.

And here Greenland was not a topic of conversation.

    – We have not discussed Greenland, says the Danish Prime Minister.
