    Woman dies after stabbing

    A 55-year-old woman died on Thursday evening after a stabbing in Tasiilaq.

    On Thursday evening, a 55-year-old woman died after a stabbing in Tasiilaq.

    The Greenland Police wrote this in a press release on Friday morning.

    The police have arrested a 25-year-old woman who is suspected of being behind the attack, the press release states.

    The incident was reported at 10:46 p.m., and at 10:50 p.m. the 25-year-old woman was arrested. The 55-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital in the city, but her life could not be saved, the police said in the press release.

    At 11:20 p.m., the woman was pronounced dead.

    The 25-year-old will be produced in Sermersooq District Court on Friday, and the police cannot say more about the case because it is still under investigation.
