The Danish construction company Per Aarsleff has taken over 100 percent ownership of Permagreen Greenland. The company is a co-owner of Inussuk, which has the service contract on Pituffik.

There has been a change in the ownership group behind the construction company Permagreen Greenland.

    There has been a change.Announcement

The construction company Aarsleff has bought out CEO Jeppe Bloch Steffensen and production director Jesper J. Petersen from the ownership group.

This is reported by the media outlet Licitationen based on information in the central business register, cvr.

    Continues in its roles

Jeppe Bloch Steffensen does not wish to comment on his actual sale of ownership in the company.

However, he confirms to Sermitsiaq that he will continue unchanged in the roles he has in Permagreen Greenland, and the same applies to Inussuk, where he is also director.

Permagreen Greenland had a turnover of 516 million DKK in the most recent accounting period and posted a profit of 27 million DKK.

The company is known to the public, among other things, for owning 51 percent of Inussuk, which was awarded the controversial service contract on Pituffik in 2022.

When the contract was awarded in 2022, Aarsleff owned between 67 and 89 percent of Permagreen Greenland, and that ownership share has now increased to 100 percent.

    Contract worth billions of kroner

The US Air Force is awarding the service contract at Pituffik, and when the contract was awarded it was stated that it will run for 12 years and has a value of up to 27.8 billion kroner.

American Vectrus owns the remaining 49 percent of Inussuk. Inussuk won the contract after many years of political negotiations aimed at securing the service contract back into the hands of a Greenlandic/Danish company.

In 2014, it caused strong protests from Greenland when Exelis Services was awarded the contract because the company was 100 percent owned by American Vectrus.
