On Wednesday evening, just before the clock struck 7 p.m., a fire broke out in Block D of Narsaq. By 7:07, local emergency services had managed to bring the blaze under control.

Chief of Duty at the Greenland Police, Andreas Nordentoft, confirmed that as a result of the fire, residents from six homes will need to be temporarily relocated. Fortunately, only one individual sustained minor injuries from the flames.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, and authorities are currently working under the belief that it was an accident.
