As the first car dealership in Greenland, Deres Auto is excited to unveil a new customer benefits club designed to reward and engage its loyal patrons.
Sales Director Palle Frederiksen noted that the rush for tire changes in May and June underscores the importance of this initiative. “We set a record during our big wheel change day in mid-May, with over 200 cars making the switch from winter to summer tires,” he remarked.
Considered a game-changer for the local automotive market, the club offers members a range of enticing deals, including discounts on labor, car washes, spare parts, and rental vehicles. “We aim to express our gratitude to our customers and enhance their experience,” Frederiksen shared. Membership is automatic with the purchase of either new or used cars, and importantly, it comes with no annual fees or hidden costs.
In addition to rewarding loyal customers, this new initiative also seeks to attract new clientele.
Discounts and Competitions
Members will enjoy significant savings: 30% off hourly labor rates, 50% off car washes, 7% off spare parts, and a 10% discount on rental cars. Special competitions will also be featured, with prizes that may include free services or tickets to local events.
Looking ahead, Deres Auto is also in the process of establishing a customer club tailored for business clients. “In the future, we plan to launch Auto Pro+, which will provide additional benefits for our business customers,” Frederiksen explained. This service may offer evening hours to accommodate busy schedules.
A Growing Enterprise
Deres Auto has seen impressive growth in recent years. Its expanding facilities on Industrivez in Nuuk now boast multiple buildings filled with a diverse inventory of both new and used vehicles. A notable addition is a spacious exhibition hall, which can accommodate up to 30 cars indoors. The latest arrivals on display include the Toyota Urban Cruiser and the new electric Mercedes G-580, marking a significant evolution in the iconic G-Class.
Tire Hotel
To further support its customers, Deres Auto has developed a comprehensive tire hotel service, allowing clients to store their winter and summer tires hassle-free. Managed from a warehouse in Pukuffik, the tires are readily accessible for quick exchanges during tire change days. The recent event on May 9-10 was a testament to the demand, with over 200 cars serviced in record time.
“With so many motorists eager to swap their tires each spring, our tire change day has become a highly anticipated event,” Frederiksen concluded, noting the ongoing success the dealership continues to experience.
