    Now you can fly directly to Aalborg

    This morning, the very first direct flight from Aalborg landed at Nuuk Airport. Throughout the summer, it will be possible to fly back and forth between the two cities twice a week.

    Nuummiut, people from northern Jutland and all other interested parties can now travel back and forth between Nuuk and Aalborg – without having to make any stops.

    In collaboration with Air Greenland, the Danish travel agency Ruby Rejser has opened a new route between the two cities from today until September 1st.

    It was celebrated with bread and coffee at Nuuk Airport this morning at 08.27, where the first Airseven plane landed, writes Kalaallit Airports on their Facebook page.

    An hour later, the plane was able to return to Denmark with new passengers.

    Departures between Nuuk and Aalborg are every Monday and Thursday this summer. You can book tickets either via Air Greenland or Ruby Rejser.
