Bifrost Motors Expands Offerings with New Bicycle Line in Sisimiut
In a significant move for outdoor enthusiasts, Bifrost Motors in Sisimiut has officially become the authorized dealer for renowned bicycle brands Kona and Haro in Greenland. This partnership not only enhances their product range but also brings an exciting array of cycling options to the local market.
“The decision to partner with Kona and Haro was driven by our desire to offer a wide variety of bicycles to our customers,” explained Maannguaq Philip Lauritzen, director of Bifrost Motors. “Kona is well-respected for its mountain bikes, gravel bikes, electric bikes, and children’s bicycles, while Haro has established itself as a leader in BMX and freestyle cycling.”
The initial shipment of bicycles has just landed in Sisimiut, generating considerable buzz among local consumers. “We’ve already seen a strong interest in mountain bikes, BMX bikes, and children’s bikes,” Lauritzen noted. “This enthusiasm reflects a growing trend in Greenland where more residents are seeking active leisure activities and reliable modes of transport.”
Currently, Bifrost Motors is featuring a selection of mountain bikes, electric bikes, and children’s models from Kona, alongside mountain and BMX bikes from Haro. Lauritzen added, “As demand increases, we plan to expand our inventory to include even more options.”
