Aasiaat Burglary Ends in Arrest
In the early hours of the morning, between 2:00 and 2:30 AM, a man was taken into custody at a shop in Aasiaat following a police report regarding a burglary.
According to Warden Aputsiaq Hansen, the authorities arrived swiftly, preventing the suspect from making his escape. “He was apprehended at the scene and has remained in police custody since his arrest,” Hansen confirmed.

In another incident, police in Uummannaq seized a significant package containing 900 grams of hashish at the local post office yesterday morning.
Warden Aputsiaq Hansen stated, “We have identified suspects in this case and have already filed charges.”
