In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a harrowing incident unfolded when a boy under the age of 18 was assaulted and robbed shortly after 4:30 AM. This distressing news was confirmed by Warden Malik Olesen, who is overseeing the ongoing investigation.

“We believe that the suspects are three girls, all minors themselves, but we have yet to identify them,” Olesen stated, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. The boy, who endured both physical assault and theft, was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. At this juncture, Olesen has refrained from disclosing further details about the boy’s condition or whether he remains hospitalized, citing the active nature of the investigation.

The Greenland Police are actively seeking assistance from the public. They urge anyone who may have witnessed the assault or noticed anything unusual around Nuussuup Atuarfia during the early morning hours to come forward. If you have information, please contact the police at 70 14 48. Your cooperation could prove invaluable in shedding light on this troubling incident.
